OUR PRO-STAFF
I gave a lot of thought to what types of folks would make the best the best Pro-Staff. At first, like everyone else probably, I thought big name turkey hunters. But, when I thought about it some more, it came to me that to make the best turkey call for the true turkey hunter, then I needed to ask that turkey hunter, not some guy getting paid for endorsements.
I went out and talked to some die-hard turkey hunters and asked what they liked or didn't like about the calls I made. I asked folks from all aspects of the turkey hunting world, from brand new beginners to old time veterans and collectors and got all kinds of answers.
The Heirloom Turkey Calls Pro-Staff is made up of great folks of all ages and all levels of experience. Some of these folks you may have even seen or heard of and others you may not have. But, they all have one thing in common; they are great folks who LOVE to hunt turkey.
A great source of feedback to me, these guys are as honest as it gets; sometimes brutally honest. It is because of them that I am able to build the best turkey calls possible. I wouldn't ask a person to endorse something they do not believe in and these folks truly believe in the quality of Heirloom Turkey Calls and it shows. They are the first ones to tell me when an idea just does not work or when an idea is worthy of offering to hunters.
Let me introduce you to these fine folks. They are here for you. Feel free to ask them any questions you like and rest assured they will give their best possible answers. Just drop them a note in our message forum.

| Bill "the shaman" Allendorf, doesn't claim to be much of a turkey hunter, but he's the world's expert at being a begining turkey hunter. It's a long story. Most of Bill's stories are that way. Our resident rattle-shaker knows what it's like to start hunting without a clue. Bill has been writing for over 25 years, and quite a bit of it has been about his love of turkeys and turkey hunting. You can read his stories on our forum as well as his weblog, Genesis 9:2-4 Ministries -- Confessions of a Cervid Serial Killer.
When we say, "Pass it on," we're talking about men like Bill. After losing all of his hunting buddies to the ravages of middle age, Bill went out and fathered three sons by two wives to replenish the ranks at turkey camp. "A good turkey hunter knows the importance of youth." says Bill. "You need strong young-uns coming up, or else who are you gonna get to carry the dekes?
